The Arts and The Crafts..

Everyone that knows me, knows just how much I love ‘Arts’ in all forms. I thought I’d use this post today to hype some people/artists I’m loving at the moment.

Theatre/Musicals

I’m loving Wicked and The Lion King:

The performances in Wicked, The Award Winning Musical  were superb; the staging and costumes were absolutely amazing and most times the whole theatre seemed to be part of the set. There were so many “wow” moments such as “Defying Gravity” ( I think my personal favourite moment), when the witch of the west rises above the rest of the cast without any visible means of support.

From the beginning to the end, it was AMAZING! I would definitely recommend the show to anyone who has enjoyed the film in the past or who likes spectacular shows. It WILL change the way you see the film for ever! I would love to go and see it again 🙂

I went to see Lion King The Musical a couple of years back and it was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. In the beginning of the show the animals enter from the back with song and dance (and sort of interact with the audience), and even though I was a tad bit scared (the costumes/makeup were fabulously done and looked life-like); i couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear! The whole show was magical and beautiful made. It’s not something that can be explained. You’ll just have to go and see it for yourselves. You’ll have a Magical time…I promise 🙂

MUSIC

In music, the Bands/Artists I’m loving, at the moment, are: The Rascal Flatts, john Mayer, Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, Demi Lovato, Lady Antebellum, Michael Buble, Jack Johnson, Beyonce Knowles, Hillsong United, Cody Simpson, Mumford & Sons, Rihanna, Flavour, P-Square, Etta James, Smokey Robinson, Boyz 2 Men, Justin Bieber (pretty cool stuff, don’t hate!), Karmin, Newton Faulkner and PSY… I will post some videos later on in the day, but you can always check them out yourselves 🙂
